We had a quiet, but enjoyable Easter this year. Saturday saw us down at the Arapani Kennels, having a lovely time exploring the farm. They all love it here and enjoy visiting. Toby had some fun herding on the Monday as well.

Molly's mum Morag, came to visit Adelaide recently, specifically to catch up with the owner of Molly's half brother Darcy. We enjoyed a little mini family reunion while they were visiting. Photo is of Molly, her mum Morag (tri colour) and Darcy (blue-merle).

"Little Poppy is everything I’ve dreamed of and tried to visualise.
She isn’t a baby anymore and has so much energy... and what an appetite! Learning so much, and perfectly smart and ultra trainable. She walks beautifully on a lead. Sits, stay and come. Everyone adores her. I feel totally blessed." ....... |

"...just thought I’d update you on how Archie is going.
He is the funniest dog who is a real sticky beak wanting to be a part of and see what we are all up to, he can be dozing off but as soon as someone gets up he’s following close behind. He gets up and puts himself to bed at 10pm every night and sleeps all the way through to 6.30am, he is such a good little boy.... Archie is such a routine dog that every morning he comes running into the bedroom looking for me and I have to lift him up so he can lick me to death. ..... he’s funny, smart, clever, interested in everything and very fast." |
"We've now had Tam for 5 weeks, and my how he's grown!!! Settled in very well and even graduated from Puppy School yesterday. Yay!! So impressed. Considering that last week was a disaster, as he wasn't paying attention to us at all, but more interested in the surroundings. Even our teacher, Di was amazed at how well he did yesterday!! Nailed it!!🐕 thank you"

Happy 1st Birthday to the "reformation" litter. Toby, Maisy and Gracie are one year old today. We loved this happy, loving litter of puppies as they were growing up. We know that Maisy has had a lovely time in the country today. Toby spent his morning at a dog show, where he won junior of breed and will have a special treat later on this afternoon. Gracie, we are sure, will be being spoilt as well.
We wanted to post and congratulate Bobby's owners, Robyn and Tom, on Bobby qualifying for Queensland's 'Dog of the Year'. This is a prestigious event, and is by invitation only. To qualify, a dog must win an All Breeds Best in Show during the previous 12 months. This is the second year in a row that Bobby has qualified for this event.
Bobby was our very first home bred sheltie. He has certainly exceeded all our expectations. We couldn't be more proud. |

It has been awhile since we have posted. Apologies for that. All our puppies are now in their new homes and they are all settling in and doing very well. We are very proud at how easy it appears the puppies have adjusted. Reports are that they are loving their new families. Thank you very much to everyone who has been sending updates.
Little Westley is staying here for a little while so he can learn how to be a show dog. We will keep you all posted with how he is coming along. His first show is just over a week away. We still have lots of training to do! He is enjoying puppy school and getting to know his new doggy friends. The best thing we have liked about the Puppy Culture program is his (and his siblings) willingness to try new things. They are such confident, happy puppies.
